Glass Jacketed Reactor (Double Glass Reactor) TOPT-20L
Reaction cylinder capacity: 20L
Temperature range : from -80°C to 280°C (Stirrer made of PTFE can withstand approximately 200º)
Motor power : 60W
Actual mixing speed: 0~600 rpm
Power voltage: 220V/60Hz
Motor reducer: 1:3
Double glass vacuum glass reactor, the inner layer is filled with reaction solvent to carry out the mixing reaction, various hot and cold substances (frozen liquid, hot water or hot oil) can be added to the inner layer to carry out the heating or cooling reaction. This glass jacket reactor can be used for both high temperature experiments (maximum temperature 280°C) and low temperature experiments (minimum temperature -80°C) and vacuum tests.
Features of 20L Double Glass Reactor:
1. Use composite seal PTFE, it can maintain high vacuum degree.
2. Use efficient condenser to ensure high recovery rate.
3. The glass set adopts high-strength borosilicate glass GG17 with good chemical and physical properties
4. By adding hot oil into the glass interlayer interface, through the loop, the reaction can be obtained under the condition of high temperature; by adding cooling liquid, the reaction can be carried out under the condition of low temperature.
5. Tap water can be added into it to quickly remove the reaction heat.
6. The discharged material has a flange hole and a valve PTFE, without dead angle inside the container, can be dismantled to facilitate the discharge of solid materials.
7. Digital mixing motor, frequency conversion control, matched with torque increasing reducer
8. Reasonable structure and selected materials. The mechanical components use stainless steel and aluminum alloy, the glass parts use high borosilicate glass, with high temperature resistance and good chemical property. Electrical components: the main components use original imported devices

Overview of the TOPT-20L Glass Jacketed Reactor
The Glass Jacketed Reactor (Double Glass Reactor) TOPT-20L is a double-walled laboratory reactor designed for controlled mixing, heating, cooling, and vacuum reactions. The inner reaction cylinder holds a working capacity of 20L and is filled with the reaction solvent, while the surrounding jacket accepts circulating hot or cold media — frozen liquid, hot water, or hot oil — to drive heating or cooling reactions. This construction makes the unit suitable for high-temperature experiments, low-temperature experiments, and vacuum tests within a single setup.
Temperature, Stirring, and Power
The reactor operates across a temperature range from -80°C to 280°C, allowing both demanding high-temperature synthesis and cryogenic low-temperature work. The PTFE stirrer component can withstand approximately 200°C. Tap water can be circulated through the jacket to quickly remove reaction heat when needed.
- Reaction cylinder capacity: 20L
- Temperature range: -80°C to 280°C (PTFE stirrer to approx. 200°C)
- Motor power: 60W
- Actual mixing speed: 0–600 rpm
- Power voltage: 220V / 60Hz
- Motor reducer: 1:3
The digital mixing motor uses frequency conversion control matched with a torque-increasing reducer, providing stable stirring across the full speed range. The composite PTFE seal helps the system maintain a high vacuum degree, and an efficient condenser supports a high recovery rate during distillation or solvent recovery.
Construction and Materials
The glass set is manufactured from high-strength borosilicate glass GG17, valued for its good chemical and physical properties and high-temperature resistance. Mechanical components are made from stainless steel and aluminum alloy, while the glass parts use high borosilicate glass. The discharge arrangement includes a flange hole and a PTFE valve, with no dead angle inside the container. This design can be dismantled to facilitate the discharge of solid materials.
- Composite PTFE seal for maintaining vacuum
- High-efficiency condenser for solvent recovery
- High borosilicate GG17 glass components
- PTFE discharge valve with flange hole, no internal dead angle
- Main electrical components use original imported devices
Applications and Related Models
The TOPT-20L is well suited to chemical synthesis, mixing reactions, solvent recovery, and process development that benefit from precise jacket temperature control and vacuum capability. Laboratories that need a smaller footprint can consider the 10L setup, while teams running larger batches may prefer the 50L beast for higher-volume operations. For users moving up in stages, the medium-scale synthesis work handled by the 30L model offers an intermediate capacity. If a cover-lift and body-turn mechanism is required for easier loading and discharge, the TOPT-20L variant with those functions provides an alternative configuration.
With its broad temperature range, vacuum compatibility, and durable borosilicate construction, the TOPT-20L Double Glass Reactor serves as a versatile platform for both heating and cooling reactions in research and pilot-scale laboratory environments.
